Pain is a multifaceted sensory and emotional experience that is usually unpleasant.
Your pain may change in:
- Intensity (mild, moderate or severe);
- Quality (sharp, burning or dull);
- Duration (transient, intermittent or persistent); and
- Location (superficial or deep, localized or diffused).
